Xotic 2.4 Update Released

This update adds windowed mode, improved translations, and a variety of fixes for customer-reported issues.  The update will be automatically deployed the next time you log in to Steam.

NEW FEATURES:

• Game can now be run in windowed mode

IMPROVEMENTS:

• Improved translations for all languages

• Brain Freeze achievement is now obtainable after winter sale

• Upgrade screen is bypassed in time-attack modes

• New indicator in time attack modes shows remaining goals

FIXES:

• Weapon switch fire rate timers are now reset properly

• All-Time High Scores calculation error fixed

• Fixed crash when no audio device is installed

• Fixed crash in how to play screen if gamepad control is not used

• Fixed issue with game window positioned incorrectly on non-Aero themes

The previous release of Xotic was not properly updating your scores on the All Time High Scores leaderboard. The first time you run Xotic after this update, you will notice a short wait on the startup screen while the game tallies up your scores from all other leaderboards and submits your proper overall score to the All Time High Scores leaderboard. This will only happen once. The game will now correctly increment your overall score when you post new scores to the boards.
